Like the beginning of a good tale, the Prologue Console sets the mood.
Bold yet balanced, it welcomes you into the space — a statement piece that says just enough. With a composition of mixed materials and quiet geometry, it becomes the prologue to a story told through texture, form, and detail.
The pie-shaped legs nod to Peranakan tile geometry, reinterpreting local heritage with a refined, contemporary lines.

“Cascade” beautifully captures the majestic essence of a waterfall gracefully flowing through tranquil, misty mountains, framed by thick, enveloping clouds. The artwork employs cool yarn colors to evoke the serene, early dawn light, interwoven with repurposed leather stripes that mimic the delicate outlines of drifting clouds. This intricate blend mirrors the peaceful yet dynamic nature of a cascading waterfall.
The fibre art serves as a poignant reminder of life's perpetual movement, much like the steady flow of water. "Cascade” symbolises the enduring qualities of craftsmanship and the interplay between chaos and softness, strength and delicacy. It reflects how each season, with its unique characteristics, leaves its imprint on our journey, weaving together moments of tranquility and transformation.

“Repose" embodies the serene essence of calm found within a forest of tall pine trees, capturing the profound sense of peace and relaxation that comes from being immersed in nature. The artwork's monochromatic palette symbolises the clarity and stillness achieved in moments of quiet reflection, with varied textures of green yarn meticulously interwoven with repurposed leather trimmings. These elements seamlessly blend into the tranquil, lush forest, evoking the enduring presence of pine trees.
This fibre art serves as a powerful reminder of endurance and steadfastness. Inspired by the pine trees' remarkable ability to remain green and vibrant throughout the year, even in the harshest winter conditions, "Repose" symbolises the longevity and resilience inherent in traditional craftsmanship. It celebrates the will to maintain and pass on time-honored techniques, gracefully adapting through every changing era while remaining true to its roots.

This exquisite Kamcheng, adorned with Peranakan bead embroidery, showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Peranakan. Once used to store food and water in the 19th century, the Kamcheng features a vibrant garden scene with blooming peonies and a majestic peacock, symbolizing beauty, pride, and resilience. The embroidery is done by the artist Nya (means mom), highlighting the beauty of the Kamcheng as a whole.

“Ascend” captures the ethereal beauty of dawn as the first sun’s rays break over majestic mountains, heralding a new day with a promise of warmth and renewal. This artwork weaves together the rich, golden hues of early morning light with the deep, earthy tones of mountain landscapes. The use of warm, rich yarns evokes the comforting embrace of sunrise, while repurposed leather trimmings add a touch of refined sophistication, symbolising the strength and durability of traditional craftsmanship.
The fibre art embodies a harmonious marriage of past and present, celebrating the longevity of age-old techniques while embracing modern aesthetics. Each element in "Ascend" is a testament to the artistry of preserving and adapting traditional methods, reflecting how enduring skills are beautifully interwoven with contemporary designs to create something both timeless and fresh.
